Merge VCF Files

Merge multiple VCF vCard files into one downloadable contacts file. Deduplicate by email, phone, or name and export a clean merged VCF.

How to use this tool

  1. Upload one or more VCF files, then optionally paste extra vCard blocks.
  2. Enable or disable deduplication depending on whether you want strict merges or raw concatenation.
  3. Review merged counts, then copy or download the final `.vcf` file.

Deduplication behavior

  • When enabled, contacts are grouped by first available key: email, then phone, then full name.
  • Matching entries are merged so missing fields are backfilled from duplicate records.
  • Phone and email fields preserve unique values across merged contacts.

Output quality

  • The merged export uses standard VCF v3.0 formatting for broad compatibility.
  • Address and profile fields are preserved where available across source records.
  • Use source and merged contact counts to quickly validate dedupe impact.

FAQ

Can I merge files without deduplicating?
Yes. Disable deduplication to keep every contact entry exactly as parsed from all inputs.
What happens when two contacts share the same email?
They are treated as the same contact and merged into one record when dedupe is enabled.
Is the merged file ready for import?
Yes. Downloaded output is a valid `.vcf` file suitable for common contact import flows.
